This school is a public secondary school under the Basic Education Comission, Ministry of Education. In Chiang Rai, all public secondaryschool work under control of director of secondary educational service area office 36.The school is supported budget from the government by individual student. The total number of budget depends on number of students of students in each school. The students are also supported by textbooks, uniform, and academic expenses from government.
Teaching System
Schooling activities are held for 5 days from Monday to Friday. They have 9 subjects, as follows: Thai, Mathematics, Social, Science, Physical Education, Arts, English, Guidance Counseling and Vocational . A day in Damrongratsongkroh school has 9 periods, and each subject is done in 50 minutes.
Materials and Other Learning Sources
Learning materials in Damrongrongratsongkroh are very diverse depending on the subjects taught, but in general the teachers in the social department use books, videos and the internet as a source of teaching materials and power points as learning media.

Every primary and secondary school must use the curriculum of Thai Basic Education Core Curriculum B.E. 2551 which started in 2008. the curriculum contains 8 strands; Thai Languages, Mathematics, Science, Social Study, History, Physical Education, Arts and Occupations and Technology. Every strand has indicators.
