Damrongratsongkroh school accommodates 2800 students, has 200 thai teachers and 11 foreign teachers and there are 72 classes and each level has 12 classes.
History of Damrongratsongkroh School
Damrongratsongkroh school, is used to be a school which was exclusively for girl called Bamrungkumaree in1918 along with Samakkhiwitthayakhom school in one location. Praya Rachadetdamrong, the founder of the school decided to move the location of Bamrungkumaree to his palace in may 17, 1993. Then in in 1959, Praya Rattananakhet the reigning ruler of chiang rai, changed the name from Bamrungkumaree to Damrongratsongkroh school. Nowdays, Damrongratsongkroh school open to both girls and boys from matthayamsuksa 1 to matthayamsuksa 6.
